Instructions: You are to interview two people and record their responses on this form. You should state their name and their comments to your solution to the identified problem.
VI. I interviewed two individuals to see what their response would be to my (our) plan. Their responses are as follows.
2/22/11: I interveiwed my older brother, who is 21 and a marine serving this country. Before he turned 21, he was confused at why the drinking age was 21. He said that after turning 18, your supposed to be an adult. He did not feel this way, Except for the fact the he can vote, serve in any military branch, and buy tobacco products, he said he did not feel like an adult, simply because he could not legally buy alcohol. He thinks it would make much more sense to lower the drinking age to 18.
2/22/11: I interveiwed classmate, Chris Barrientos. Chris said the current drinking age is bullshit. He belives the legal drinking age should be lowered to 18. Reasons to support this belief are as follows; Under the United States Constitution you are legally an adult after turning 18 years of age (why does that not include consuming alcohol?), keeps less kids 18-20 years of age out of legal trouble when they consume alcohol and teaches responsibility at a younger age.
VII. My (our) answer, based on our research, to their objections and concerns are that the legal drinking age should be lowed to 18 years of age, taking effect on Janurary 1st 2012.
